Word — Retaining Wall

A cold morning in Shimla. We hired a cab to move around the mountains up and downhill. There were these retaining walls made of boulders and concrete. The whole city is based on these slopes in the mountains. We went ot the topmost peak. And then took some pictures. The sun was extreme on the eyes. Couldn't see straight. Kept eyes flinched the whole time. Extreme cold winds mixed with a very strong sun. Confusing. We had scarfs around our necks wearing multiple layers and still struggling with the sun. It was Mussoorie. We roamed around the place with the taxi guy. At last, went to a temple. Sat there and played some music on the Bluetooth speakers my friend had. It was dark already and we needed to catch the bus back to the city down in the valley where we were staying. A very active day with dizziness because of catching the height early in the morning. There is a strange silence up there. And also a lot of clarity in vision due to the bright sun and nearly zero pollution. The cold hurts the skin for a while. We also went to this college for running the next morning with my friend’s family. Took photos. It was morning and it was a great campus. Had appeared in a movie too. There was this knee-tall yellow grass covering the grounds on the edges. Adding to the beauty of the place. No sign of people or any sort of noise early in the morning. I think it was a weekend. We walked around and then returned back to the car. Sat on the back seat. With uncle and aunty in the front.
